Pure sound and clean lines – the loudspeakers of the Karat series embody transparent, straightforward, high volume musical enjoyment. The purist Bauhausstyle design, along with the lacquer and “high gloss” finishes of the cabinets, complete the look.

The high quality lacquer finish and distinctive timeless shapes of the Karat series reflect Canton's developmental aims: Karat represents clear, faithful musical reproduction without any adulterating effects. Tweeters with computer optimized "transmission front plates", functioning up to 40,000 Hz, have a hand in this, as do the midrange speakers with their aluminum membranes, wave-geometry surrounds and optimized motor systems. Shock absorbers between the loudspeaker cabinet and base plate on the floorstanding speakers in this series ensure near perfect isolation from the floor.
