The high quality lacquer finish and distinctive timeless shapes of the Karat series reflect Canton's developmental aims: Karat represents clear, faithful musical reproduction without any adulterating effects. Tweeters with computer optimized "transmission front plates", functioning up to 40,000 Hz, have a hand in this, as do the midrange speakers with their aluminum membranes, wave-geometry surrounds and optimized motor systems. Shock absorbers between the loudspeaker cabinet and base plate on the floorstanding speakers in this series ensure near perfect isolation from the floor.
