This is the standard by which we are measured: the Reference loudspeakers reflect the current status of what is technically and mechanically possible. In order to achieve such perfection, every detail – from the smallest screw to the hand finished piano lacquer – was meticulously tested. Elaborate computer simulations were then used to hone every nuance of tone until the speaker finally merited the accolade of “pure music”.

Nothing has been left to chance: the most carefully braced, elegantly complex design also produces perfect sound quality – with no standing waves allowed to build up inside.

Enormous bass with virtually no distortion: the woofers, with their aluminum cones, offer all the benefits of CantonÂ’s very own patented multi-curved wave surround geometry.

Perfection begins with attention to detail: only the exact calculation of every single component part and the simulation of their interplay make it possible to achieve the outstanding sound quality of our technological prototype – the Reference 1 DC.

Rising to the most demanding challenges: with the low internal resistance of the inductors and the high electrical strength of the capacitors, the crossover plays a significant role in the final sound quality.

The perfect combination: the bi-wiring connector panel is part of the overall sound concept and ensures optimum signal transmission.

High-end and high-tech: in computer simulations the exact design of the transmission front plate simulates the omni-directional properties of the tweeter.

The ultimate in design and technology: the supercharged roar of the Vento Reference 1 DC weighs in at a mighty 88 kilos. The other models of the series are somewhat lighter but no less formidable. The VENTO Series has added a whole new dimension to the high-end sector. It goes under the name of “pure music“.

For us, the highest technological standards apply to internal components as well – such as high-voltage capacitors and inductors with extremely low internal resistance. The metal film resistors of the crossovers are every bit as good as the internal wiring developed specially for the VENTO Series.

The aluminum cone drivers use CantonÂ’s very own multi-curved wave surround, which increases output while lowering distortions.

The Vento tweeter system with its aluminum-manganese dome reproduces frequencies of up to 40,000 Hz with perfect clarity. The signal emitted by the transmission front plate gives perfect sound throughout the room.
