HDMI™ Switcher with Active iVEC™

"As is so often the case at major events such as the recent CEDIA UK show, many exhibitors experience "technical" difficulties whilst trying to make it all work. Fujitsu were not alone this year in having issues with HDMI splitters that seem to vary greatly in their ability to do "what it says on the tin".....

Having previously come to our rescue with an HDMI switcher at the 2007 Bristol Sound and Vision show which performed well straight out of the box, we approached the IXOS team at CEDIA with our latest request for a "get out of jail free" card, otherwise known as an IXOS 4 way HDMI splitter XHT948 which duly arrived on our stand in record time, installed in a similar record time and as we had come to expect, worked straight out of the box and powered all our screens of vastly differing sizes and resolutions perfectly for the duration of the show, and with the unit buried in what became a very warm equipment cupboard further re-enforcing the products "built to last" credentials.

Whilst there may be other brands that may work without issue (we all live in hope), in our testing the only success we have had without any issues at all thus far are from the IXOS HDMI splitter/switcher products. We continue to try other makes but I'll wager the IXOS people will always have a unit or two hidden away waiting for us to ask at the next show."
