With twin-shrouded terminals for bi-wiring or bi-amplification the iQ70 has impressive power handling, faultless integration, breathtaking vocals and, thanks to the new ‘labrynth’ internal damping system, heavyweight bass. Uni-Q^®

KEF’s patented Uni-Q driver configuration is what makes the Q Series sound noticeably better than conventional speakers in normal rooms.

The new Uni-Q array in the iQ has been further refined, with a sophisticated new 19mm (0.75in.) elliptical dome tweeter, improved acoustic geometry and ‘tangerine’ waveguide for even more realistic vocals and even smoother, louder and clearer high frequency response.

Enclosures

Inspired by the Reference Series the fully curved enclosures of the iconic Q Series minimize distortion by eliminating internal standing waves. Laminated MDF construction and internal bracing make the cabinets acoustically inert and reduce cabinet coloration. A new internal labyrinth damping system in the floorstanding models eliminate coloration effects from vertical standing waves.

LF Drivers

The new Q Series feature the latest lightweight dual composite LF cones with tall profile rubber surrounds for longer cone throw resulting in increased LF extension and greater power handling. Rigid die cast aluminium chassis house ultra-low distortion motors incorporating Faraday rings to iron out harmonic distortion.

KEF WARRANTY INFORMATION

 All KEF products are precision engineered and should give years of enjoyment. However, in the unlikely event service should be required, passive KEF products are warranted against FAULTY MATERIAL AND/OR WORKMANSHIP for a period of 5 (FIVE) years from the date of original purchase. Custom Installation (Ci) models are warranted for a period of 2 (TWO) years for both passive and motorized models.

Active Electronics are guaranteed against FAULTY MATERIAL AND/OR WORKMANSHIP for a period of 1 (ONE) year from the date of original purchase. Note: Subwoofers contain passive elements and active electronic elements, active elements are warranted for a period of 1 year and the passive components are warranted for a period of 5 years on such models.

All warranties are subject to the following restrictions:

• This warranty is only valid in the country of purchase and applies to the first purchaser only.
• That the equipment has not been disassembled, modified or tampered with by any person other than an expressly authorized representative of GP Acoustics (US) Limited.
• That the equipment has not been abused or operated in conjunction with unsuitable, inappropriate or faulty apparatus.
• That the equipment has not suffered mechanical damage or damage in transit.
• That the Serial Number label(s) have not been defaced or removed.
