Specifically
designed to make the most of today’s larger (42in.+) flat high definition TV
screens, KHT8005 adds the sophistication of KEF’s high end Uni-Q technology to
the front left-center-right sound bar speaker so that everyone in the room
enjoys the same involving, evenly dispersed and disarmingly natural 3D sound
wherever they sit.
Mounted above or below your screen and blending discreetly with its appearance,
the slim sound bar incorporates both left and right front speakers as well as
the all-important center channel. Together with the small rear satellites (which
can be positioned horizontally or vertically), each of the three front channels
in the sound bar boasts a Uni-Q ‘point source’ HF/midrange driver flanked by
a 75mm woofer and bass radiator. Acoustically inert cast aluminum enclosures
(finished in gloss black) eliminate any internal waves that might otherwise
muddy the outstanding sonic clarity this unique configuration delivers.
Add the dramatic physical power of KEF’s acclaimed KUBE-2 subwoofer and you
experience the full weight, depth and texture of movie effects. No wonder - with
a 200mm long-throw LF cone and matching passive radiator driven a 200W Class-D
amp, low frequency response is as well controlled as it is emotionally
compelling.

KEF’s
patented ’sit anywhere’ Uni-Q driver places the tweeter in the acoustic center
of the bass/midrange cone (woofer). This allows both woofer and tweeter to act
as a single, focused source of sound that is dispersed widely and evenly
throughout the room. The practical benefit is that great sound can be
experienced from anywhere in the listening environment removing the "sweet
spot" effect.

WARRANTY INFORMATION
All
KEF products are precision engineered and should give years of enjoyment.
However, in the unlikely event service should be required, passive KEF products
are warranted against FAULTY MATERIAL AND/OR WORKMANSHIP for a period of 5
(FIVE) years from the date of original purchase. Custom Installation (Ci) models
are warranted for a period of 2 (TWO) years for both passive and motorized
models.
Active
Electronics are guaranteed against FAULTY MATERIAL AND/OR WORKMANSHIP for a
period of 1 (ONE) year from the date of original purchase. Note: Subwoofers
contain passive elements and active electronic elements, active elements are
warranted for a period of 1 year and the passive components are warranted for a
period of 5 years on such models.
All
warranties are subject to the following restrictions:
- This
warranty is only valid in the country of purchase and applies to the first
purchaser only.
- That
the equipment has not been disassembled, modified or tampered with by any
person other than an expressly authorized representative of GP Acoustics
(US) Limited.
- That
the equipment has not been abused or operated in conjunction with
unsuitable, inappropriate or faulty apparatus.
- That
the equipment has not suffered mechanical damage or damage in transit.
- That
the Serial Number label(s) have not been defaced or removed.
