The MS909W is powered by a 300 Watt digital amplifier. The use of digital technology greatly reduces the load on the power supply through its high efficiency. This reduces power supply modulation effects for reduced transient and intermodulation distortion, which can be particularly prevalent at bass frequencies in lesser designs. The massive power output also offers by its very nature a huge dynamic range, and freedom from clipping or compression effects.
