The basic construction consists of 3 twisted, multi-stranded 10 AWG OFHC copper center conductors with PVC insulation. There are two layers of shielding: an aluminum/Mylar® tape providing 100% blockage from high frequency EMI/RFI and a 95% braided copper shield providing rejection of low frequency EMI. Both shields are connected to the power cable's electrical ground ensuring total rejection of any outside electrical or electronic interference.

The male plug is a molded-on UL® listed hospital grade 3 pront male AC connector with gold-plated prongs. The female receptacle is a molded-on female IEC connector.

The overall PVC jacket is covered with a black and gold striped woven nylon cover. To achieve a complete UL product, the woven jacket may be removed.

The TRIBUTARIES® Silver Series AC Power Cables, model SCP, are available now in heavy mil ziplock bags in lengths of: 1½ ft, 3 ft, 6 ft, 9 ft, and 12 ft.
