Description
With their angular and self-confident appeal, these loudspeakers have high recognition value.
Acoustically, this can be found in their powerful and direct sound. This is made possible by the use of driver technology from the large loudspeaker series.
Thanks to the optimized shape of the aluminum-manganese tweeters with transmission front plate and the midrange speakers and woofers with their patented Canton wave surround technology, the sound of Chrono Series’ loudspeakers is as warm as it is balanced.
The socket construction, not commonly found in this class, provides the necessary acoustic clearance and underlines the claim of doing everything to produce optimal sound quality.

Impressive and Beautiful Bookshelf Speaker
First impressions:
Looks: The cabinet design, glossy finish, and driver enclosure look great! The speakers are very classy in appearance and match the rest of my dark desktop setup well. I prefer to use them without the grill on as they look quite beautiful without them on.
Sound: As of now, the speakers have only been run continuously for about an hour and have yet to be fully broken in. In the manual, Canton recommends a 15-20hour break in period. However, my initial impressions are very good. The bass and low end on these speakers is clean and warm. For others who have Canton GLE/Chrono towers, the bass output is similar in the clean/accurate sense.
Mid range is solid and very enjoyable. I have compared these to the Energy CB20, RC10, CB10, and CB5. I have found the mid range on these speakers to be very transparent and accurate but not overly pronounced. Instrumental music is very pleasant as a result.
I think the best part of this speaker is in the Aluminum-Manganese tweeter. The high end of these speakers are utterly phenomenal. The clarity and realism of frequencies above 3k hz is just fantastic. Voices, synths, and many other instruments sound very lifelike, transparent, and soft. I cannot speak highly enough of the tweeter on this speaker-no piercing at high volume, even response, and extreme clarity.
Overall, I would give these speakers a 5/5 for the price considering at original MSRP they were approx $950. Accessories4Less offers some incredible deals on the Canton lineup. As of now, I don’t see the Cantons getting enough attention and I wanted to hop on the bandwagon to spread the news that these speakers are incredible. Hope this helps anyone who is eyeing these speakers or similar Canton bookshelf equipment!
