Pristine Listening, Any Room
State-of-the-art Dirac Live room correction technology takes the room out of the equation and unlocks your loudspeakers’ full potential—no upgrade required. It automatically calibrates sound to the room using either a smartphone + the included wired mic or the Dirac Live PC/MacOS app + a 3rd party USB mic (not included). You’ll get a more accurate measurement of your surround sound positioning and more precise and balanced sound overall.
Auto Room Tuning
Pioneer’s Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration System (MCACC) automatically adjusts sound according to your listening area and speakers by suppressing the standing waves that occur between walls or ceiling and the floor. Additionally, Auto Phase Control Plus makes real-time analysis of the phase difference and automatically compensates for the gap, resulting in strong bass and clear high-frequency sound.
Bi-Directional Bluetooth
Now, Bluetooth connectivity is even better with bi-directional Bluetooth. Stream from your device to the AVR using SBC or AAC codecs, or transmit audio playing through the AVR to compatible wireless headphones. Music Streaming
Music streaming is simple with the VSX-LX305. Access to several streaming services including Spotify®, Amazon Music, Pandora®, TIDAL, Deezer, and TuneIn is built in. Additionally, this AVR is compatible with Works with Sonos, AirPlay 2 and DTS Play-Fi®. You can also use voice commands to control supported music services in multiple rooms with Alexa or Chromecast built-in™.
Multi-room Entertainment
Wirelessly stream audio from any compatible mobile device to your AV Receiver and DTS Play-Fi compatible audio systems to create a multi-room system in your home. You can even stream different sources to different speakers at the same time from the DTS Play-Fi app.

Buying a Pioneer Factory Refurbished product is a great way to get "as-new" products at a considerable savings. Every product has been thoroughly tested, repaired (if necessary), cleaned and otherwise renewed to original condition. Next it's repackaged with accessories included. When you consider that a factory-renewed Pioneer product undergoes such close scrutiny for defects and workmanship, you might actually be buying something that is in many ways better than new. And for your piece of mind and protection, your purchase is covered by a full 1 year parts and labor warranty valid at any authorized Pioneer repair center (you can look-up locations online here or call 844-679-5350)
Pioneer, like all electronics manufactures, receives products returned for various reasons. In 2011 consumers returned 17 billion dollars in electronics globally, of which less than 5% were found to be defective! Once a product has been opened, it must be resold as refurbished or open box and can't be resold as new again. The history and reason why a product was returned is not provided to us, thus we can't provide any additional details regarding its past. All products are processed by Pioneer certified technicians, where they are fully tested, repaired (only if necessary), and retested again to ensure the highest quality control. Each unit must pass a complete battery of test before it can be titled a "Pioneer Factory Refurbished" product.
Minor signs of wear (light surface scuffs or minor scratches) may be present. We DO NOT sell products that are cosmetically damaged (cracked displays, broken knobs, heavy scratches, or physically abused). Unfortunately, we can't provide actual photos of each unit or pick the best one for anyone, as they are all randomly chosen from our factory sealed boxes.
